How the panel-and-stand system works

Each panel sits in metal stands, and sandbags are placed over the stands to keep everything stable under normal wind and foot-traffic conditions. Panels clamp together with a wrench, pliers or a drill to form a continuous barrier, and the sandbag weight does the job concrete footings would do on a permanent fence.

The practical advantage is flexibility. If a contractor needs to shift the fence line mid-project to allow equipment access, a crew member with basic hand tools can move panels in minutes. If an event organizer needs to widen a pedestrian entry, they uncouple a section. Post-driven fence can't be adjusted that way, because it is set once and stays put.
